With just a few pretty blue markers and some fun techniques, you can turn flat spaces into dreamy, rippling waters. Follow along with this easy, step-by-step guide to create something super cute and artsy.

What You’ll Need:

  • Ohuhu Alcohol Markers Honolulu Set (used in this guide for the dreamy blues!).

  • A set of blue markers in different shades (e.g., Smoky Blue, Pale Grayish Blue, Aquamarine, Pale Blue, Light Blue).

  • A white gel pen or acrylic marker for those final magical highlights.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Choose Your Colors 🎹

To make your water look deep and realistic (but still super adorable), pick a mix of blue shades. Here’s what I used:

  • B260 Smoky Blue

  • B220 Pale Grayish Blue

  • B140 Aquamarine

  • B120 Pale Blue

  • B250 Light Blue

This combo creates the prettiest water gradient ever! 💙

 

2. Color the Base Layer đŸ–Œïž

Start with the lightest shade of blue (B120 Pale Blue) and fill in the entire water area. Think of this as your canvas—a smooth, clean base to build on.

 

3. Add Random Spots 🌟

Next, grab a slightly darker shade (B250 Light Blue) and add cute, irregular spots across the water. These will act as little shadows and give your water that extra bit of dimension.
